Thank you, Moorehead!
If you haven't read it in the Chronicle yet, or read about it on our website, Moorhead Communications is donating a whopping $20,000 to the Humane Society! That's right, a two with four zeros after it. Thanks to them our fine furry friends will be able to be that much more comfortable now that we can afford to put some A/C in the kennels.

We Need Volunteers!
As an Non-Profit Organization, funds are always hard to come by which means that we rely heavily on the volunteers in the community. We have a few fundraisers coming up: The Golf Outing at Shady Hills Golf Club as well as the Poker Run. We are in desperate need of volunteers to help run these events.

If you don't think that you can volunteer for an entire event, we are always in need of help at the Shelter itself. Please, if you want to volunteer or are interested in volunteering, send an email to Selina Bradley (selinamb@gmail.com) or fill out the volunteer form on the website.

Are You A Member Yet?!
For as little as $15, you can become a member of your local animal shelter.

We are currently trying to find homes for the many cats and dogs that are being dropped off daily at the shelter. The support we receive from the city of Marion, Gas City and Grant County does not cover our monthly operating expenses. We are currently supporting over 200 animals at the shelter that need food and medicines. Only with YOUR SUPPORT can we take care of the unwanted animals in our care.
