Ella's Angels Is...
…an opportunity for members of the community to financially assist MGCHS on a reoccurring monthly basis. These funds are used to help the special animals under our care who are sick and/or neglected.
Why Contribute
We are a nonprofit organization, and we depend on the support of our friends in the community to fund our programs. All gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We receive no United Way or government funding - we are entirely privately-funded. We promise to be good stewards of your gifts.
Who is Ella?
Ella is a prime example of how MGCHS needs to continue helping the community by educating the public about disease and the importance of spay/neuter. If Ella would have had her annual vaccinations and responsibly altered, perhaps then this story wouldn’t be so tragic.
Ella came to us pregnant and with Parvo. She gave birth to a staggering litter of ten puppies, while the average dog gives birth to only six to eight. Although she received treatment for Parvo, she was not able to recover due to the toll pregnancy and motherhood put on her body. Even with our efforts and Ella’s nurturing, not all of the puppies made it either.
While she was with us for only a short time, her impact was immeasurable. She stole our hearts and inspired us.
